
Dr. Peter M. Dayton is a graduate of Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency at Medical College of Toledo and Associated Hospitals in 1985. Dr. Dayton received his board certification in 1987 from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Dayton is on staff at Martin Memorial Hospital and he has most recently served as a Member of the Department of OB/GYN Quality Review Committee and is currently a member of the Martin Memorial Ethics Committee.
Dr. Dayton’s interest in obstetrics and gynecology began when he was a student working as a surgical technician. Reproductive medicine offers him opportunities to help people by performing surgery and working with the challenges of endocrinology. Dr. Dayton gets great satisfaction in participating in the nurturing of young families while helping more elderly patients through the diagnosis of cancer and the surgeries associated with it. Obstetrics and Gynecology has offered Dr. Dayton everything medicine has terms of challenges and rewards.
